I am big on milkshakes. Banana apple milkshake is on my list every day. Its healthy, easy and tasty. I am not a coffee fan. I just have one favourite hot coffee drink that I tasted in Second Cup few months ago. I am just not able to taste anything else. Its addictive!
On to my Zesty Orange Milkshake, this is something I learnt while I was making Creamy Orange flowers. Just mixing a few regular ingredients, I came up with this new drink. Its creamy sweet and tangy. You will love the burst of orangy zest in the milk. It will get you all refreshed. A glass of the shake in the morning and a toast will do just fine and keep you in an active zing zangy mood all day.
Ingredients:
1 cup orange juice
1/2 cup cold milk
1 tbs sugar ( I have a sweet tooth)
4 cubes of ice
1 scoop vanilla icecream
1 teaspoon orange zest
Method:
Whip all the ingredients together. The only thing to remember is when you do an orange milk shake always make sure milk and orange are all cold. If not, it will curdle. Garnish with a piece of orange or like you see in the pictures on however your imagination leads you. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteI love orange flavored milk and have bought it from grocery stores but never made at home as I thought making it with real oranges or orange juice would split the milk, but your recipe is tempting me now to try it out!
